What is DTF?

WHAT IS DTF?

DTF stands for Direct to Film. In this technique, your design is printed onto a special film using colored textile ink. The process includes white ink which allows for use on dark colored materials, unlike standard sublimation. Through a multi step heating process, the film design is transferred onto any garment including cotton, polyester and blends.

How do I wash my apparel?

When it comes to caring for your items, it's best to wash inside out on cold water and either low heat or hang dry.

Can I feel the design?

Yes DTF has a slight feel to it.  If it is mainly just text or a design with more open spots to allow the shirt to come through, it has less of a feel to it.  But if it is a large, full image, then you will be able to feel it on your shirt.  It's not as thick and bulky as regular HTV but it is still technically a "film" applied to your apparel.
